PABLO FDEZ.
ARRIETA

Guitarist and composer. He is graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston (EE.UU.) where he got a scholarship and studied with Hal Crook, Jerry Bergonzi and Mick Goodrick among others.

He successfully completed a master´s degree program at Queens College (CUNY) and classical guitar degree at Isaac Albeniz Conservatory in Girona. He studied in Holland –Rotterdams Conservatorium and Hilversums Conservatorium– and International Master Classes with Dave Liebman, Joe Henderson and Bruce Forman among others-.

Pablo has been playing all over the world: Forum Cultural Mundial in Sao Paulo (Brazil), International Jazz Festival in Lugo (Spain), Langnau Jazz Nights (Switzerland) and Oscar niemeyer Museum in Curitiba (Brazil).

As a leader he has released 4 albums: Batzen gaituena, D´aqui pra la, with Brazilian percussionist Naná vasconcelos, O Amor and Standards. He has collaborated in others albums like Spainphonic with euphonium player Juan Jose Munera. He has composed music for soundtracks (Carmo, La Estrella), documentaries (Sua zerutik dator, 5 pueblos patrimonio vivo) and music for theatre (Ping Pang).

Currently, he is working in his next album Nire gitartxoari with guitarist Jean Marie Ecay which will be released in December 2022.

Pablo Fdez. Arrieta has 4 albums as a leader: Batzen gaituena (2019), D´aqui pra lá (2008), O Amor (2002) and Standards (1996). He is currently working in the fifth album Nire gitartxoari with guitarist Jean Marie Ecay which will be released this year.

He has taken many courses for expanding his music knowledge as student. He has also been clinician offering concerts and masterclasses all over the world performing and recording with such artists as Naná Vasconcelos, Perico Sambeat, Mario Rossy, Jean Marie Ecay and Carlos Barretto, among others.

MUSIC TECHNOLOGY. Music Workshop for Cinema and Audio Digital Protools, Finale and Logic Audio (S.G.A.E.).

ORCHESTRAL CONDUCTING. Courses of symphonic conducting (Valencia and Teruel).

02. WORKSHOPS AND MASTERCLASSES.

Masterclasses in Jazz Harmony and Composition (Brazil, Girona, Markina-Xemein). Guitar and Flamenco Worshops (Brazil).

03. FESTIVALS AND CONCERTS.

Performances in Forum Cultural of Sao Paulo (Brazil), International Jazz Festival of Lugo (Spain) and Langnau Jazz Nights (Switzerland). He has also performed in Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao), Auditorio Nacional de Madrid or Oscar Niemeyer Museum – Curitiba (Brazil). He performs in jazz festivals with different bands – guitar duo, trio and quartet.

Besides his own music productions, he has worked for cinema and television and has participated in many instrumental projects and collaborations.
